Storylines
Ilath'tiadar:The valley where mist fills the woods so thick one cannot see beyond their own steps more then a few feet. There is a clearing in the center of this valley and resting there is a quaint little inn called the Silver Oak. All who seek shelter are welcome to this place. The woods are home to all manner of creatures, magickal and mundane. One never knows what they might find there. Hidden within the misted woods that fill the valley there is a small, remote tribe of elves with a culture and deities of their own. They have given this region its name. Ilath'tiadar means Land of Magick Mists and it is quite appropriate when one thinks about it. The mists protect this small tribe from intrusion as only those within know of it for certain... and of course the Lady of the inn known as the Silver Oak... But that is another story. The elven people of this tribe have been isolated for so long that they have their own language tho the name of the region comes from the older tongue once shared with outsiders. These people believe that the mists were created by the Lady of the Lake and the Lord of Mists, two of their gods, to aid the goddess Essence in protecting them. They are a good people whose faith is rewarded daily with evidence that their deities do indeed care for them. Their warriors often train in archery and swordsmanship while stealth is taught to all of the young. This storyline is run by Kitten. Any who wish to create elves of the tribe feel free to post on the messageboard with information about the character you wish to be a part of it and any questions you might have. This is the main storyline for the room so all are welcome to join it with a fantasy based character.
Blood and Gold:
The setting can be anywhere in the world with the time frame being from the mid 1700's to the present. The storyline happens to be based off the Anne Rice novels, like the Vampire Chronicles, the Lives of the Mayfair Witches, and others of that sorts. We allow anything that can be found in her novels, but you must check with Kitten first if you want a Source character or old vampire. Of course any form of modern character is allowable as it is a large world but we do not want White Wolf characters in this Storyline. White Wolf has its own storyline to be joined. World of Darkness: Even in the modern world we have to fear those things that go bump in the night. Vampires, werewolves, mages... even a mummy or two. This is the world where darkness reigns where the night is more alive then the day. Oakland is under the control of a new man who is looking to bring the Camarilla back to the Sabbat overrun San Francisco. Detroit is being run by a woman more in love with the sunset then is healthy for any of the dark blood. And Miami... well Miami is the chaos that comes with the reign of a Brujah Prince and an Assamite sheriff. And then there are places like London and New York where the Sabbat has all but taken over. Of course some cities are clean of vampiric rule thanks to the hand of the Shifters. There is an underground war going on out there, it has been going on for thousands of years. No one finds peace when their blood is tainted, no matter what that taint may be. This SL is Run by Kitten but each City is run by its Prince whos player is the ST for that City. It is a cooperative effort. Alternate Reality (2014): The world as we know it was devastated in the year 1996 when all the world powers declared war on one another. Bombs rained down on the world as nations lost their allies and gained enemies. Major cities were the first to fall and now everywhere there is ruin. In the aftermath something awoke. A darkness rose from the pits of the earth, some say brought about by all the hatred bred by war. And now in the shadows lurks something far more dangerous then man could have ever created. Demons, monsters, the devil himself... so many names have been given through the years and none know the true nature of this evil. The rich gained power and the world was divided once more. A new faction sprouted, funded by the wealthy and manned by the unfortunate. The Patrol was created to protect the cities from the darkness beyond and have grown, now keeping the poor in line, searching the streets of the new cities in the rubble, gathering healthy men and recruiting them to their ranks. They are a brutal group, beating those too weak to join them and doing unspeakable things to the rest. There is a rebellion, it too has spread to nearly every city run by the Patrol. The unfortunate masses forced to live in the ruins of the cities rise up in silence to strike their oppressers. They learn to fight young, and how to survive. Innocence is a rare thing in this world and when it is found it is either cherished or obliterated. The year is 2014... How will you survive? This storyline is run by Kitten and is open to anyone. Beyond the Stars: Not your typical outer space RP. This is not Star Trek or Star Wars. It is an open space, anything is possible, RP. Space is a vast open region, no one really knows what is out there but we can all imagine. Realms of Avalon:Welcome Travelers, to Avalon. What you shall find here is something that you shall not see anywhere else. Are you a fan of Robin Hood? Perhaps one of Beowulf, or even of King Arthur? Well, it doesn't matter which one you be a fan of, or even if you be of all three, because you shall find them all in the Chatroom that this site is for. If you wish to play in the Robin Hood storyline, then he is in the forest of a King in Northern England, the king still being King Richard, and it still being Prince John that is rulling in his brother's stead while the older one is gone. He is a bandit, as the true histories portell, though he does only steal from the rich, and sometimes, when he see's those that need it badly enough, he shall give a little of what he steals to the poor. Though if Robin Hood is not your thing, then there is the Beowulf style Storyline, in which you can be a hunter of Demon's in all of the Isles, from England to Scottland, even over to Ireland. And if you choose instead to play in the Arthurian based RP, then you have a chance of being a Knight of the Round Table, or even a lord, unless you wish to just play a bandit, peasant, servant, or even hunter. Anything that is human is allowed, and sometimes you shall even find some magic. Don't be surprised if, while in there, you run into Myrddin or any of the other more well known historic story figures. This SL is run by DragonWolf
Mageverse V: Spheres:The 5th edition to Mageverse has now gone into a new generation. The same Golden Weaver, now with a new concept to magick, known as the Magispheres.
A Comic World:Have you ever wondered what it might be like if all your favorite comic book characters were real? There is a place where they exist and many more unheard of before you step through. Reign of Fire: Our story takes place in 2026, the bull dragon was slaughtered in London by Quinn, Alex and Van Zan. We all know how it began, he rose from the depths of the earth in London in the year 2008 and brought his race back from extinction, populating the earth with dragons who only knew two things, destroy and survive. By 2012 the world was in ruin. Now that he is gone another has taken his place. A lost egg that hatched and gave birth to the new generation. Slowly their numbers begin to climb again and the destruction resumes, the world is ash once more. Only patches of green remain, protected by the people who cultivate them, warriors and farmers, even the young learn how to survive. "What do we do when we are awake? Keep both eyes on the sky. What do we do when we sleep? Keep one eye on the sky. What do we do when we see it? Dig hard, dig deep, run fast, find shelter and never look back." Characters from the movie are not available. Altherathe: 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons. The world is unusual, created by Mayjay. There are seven continents, each unique in its own way. Will you make something in that world or will you be left behind in the flow of time? Will your deeds be cheered on by all or will they never remember your passing? Only you can decide that for sure, but fate and luck will also be there with you... Will they let you succeed? Only time can tell. This storyline is run by Mayjay. Characters must be approved. Moonside: A quaint little demiplane created, and run, by Cassandra Thinger. Here it is always night, and a being can come to relax, get something, or even sleep. All beings are welcome there, as Moonside Portal opens to 16,777,216 different realms, most unknown. Most will notice the place is unusual, but few have found its secrets. The Chosen: The world is earth, the year is 2020. It has been 20 years since the rise of the "Chosen". The chosen are humans that can wield the "Gift", an energy force, that most call magic. Though not all are like the wizards of legend. Some have powers over mental abilities, in other words, psionics. Though there are a few that have abilities over technology. As one Chosen put it, a technomage is a Chosen with an energy ability over anything touched by the human aura. The majority of Chosen are not as free as they would like to be. As they have to use their gift at the whim of another. Very few Chosen however, are able to use their abilities as they see fit, as most have to use their gift at the will of others. Those that can use their gifts as they wish, hide their gift, for fear of it being used in ways they do not wish it to be used. The planet itself is higher tech then the player's Earth, but it is still, a modern time.This is a freeform storyline run by Mayjay and is open to anyone. There are dangerous planets out there, where night only comes once every 20 years but when it does the world is taken over by ferocious beasts that pick the planet clean of life. Most are a long way from earth but with space travel advancing daily they are simple enough to get to with a single mistake.
Other planets may seem like flourishing edens filled with life. But eutopia is never what it seems to be. Watch your back out there in the vast emptiness of space... and make sure the planet is one you can breathe on.
Anything is possible with this futuristic place... while there are no magickal creatures, no dragons or elves, who is to say there is not a planet with a dragonlike creature? Just remember, be imaginative and it is the Distant Future. This SL is run by Kitten
Hexayr still stays as the same plane where a city surrounds the heart of magick itself - the Temple of the Golden Sphere. It is named after the one known as the Golden Sphere - the Titan of the Magispheres - Lord Flynn Durranis himself.
The Golden Sphere Temple is once again its own city, as it inhabits the training mages into the arts by none other than Flynn Durranis, and his noble guild of esoteric manipulators known as Spaceweavers. This SL is run by Aaron a.ka. 14 Crosstown
